A chef with extensive knowledge of Edomae sushi will provide thorough and enjoyable instruction on how to use a Japanese knife, prepare the ingredients, make nigiri sushi, and even make rolls.
*If an interpreter will be provided, we will contact you in advance.

Vegetarian and allergy options
Although raw fish is used in the menu, we will provide individual ingredients for those who do not like raw fish or for vegetarians. Please also inform us in advance of any allergies, and we will prepare individual ingredients as needed.

Experience content

  • Grated real wasabi. Experience the flavor of freshly grated wasabi.

  • You will mix rice with sushi vinegar, cut the rice into sushi rice, and then taste the freshly made sushi.

  • Experience cutting and decorating white fish, shrimp, scallops, etc. with a knife.

  • Experience slicing medium fatty tuna and lean meat.

  • A lesson on how to make sushi rice. Each person will make 9 pieces.

  • Experience grilling sushi with a burner.

  • Experience rolling up a roll of sushi and cutting it with a Japanese knife.

  • We will serve you a complimentary bowl of clam red miso soup.

都内の寿司店や和食・イタリアンの現場で経験を重ね、現在は“旅先で味わう本物の寿司”をテーマに、出張寿司サービスを行っています。店舗に縛られない自由なスタイルで、お客様の目の前で一貫一貫、丁寧に握ります。

​食べていただく方の「思い出」に残るような寿司と時間を、心をこめてお届けします。

Nice to meet you. I'm Yuzu, a private sushi chef based in Tokyo.
With diverse experience in sushi, Japanese, and Italian kitchens across Tokyo — including Ginza — I now bring authentic sushi directly to guests staying in Japan.
My approach is simple: fresh ingredients, expert hands, and an unforgettable experience served right before your eyes.
I aim to create more than just a meal — I aim to craft a memory.

Advance preparation

Confirmation with Your Accommodation

This sushi experience takes place at your accommodation.
Please check with the property manager or host in advance to ensure that outside chefs are allowed to enter and conduct a cooking experience.
(Some Airbnbs and hotels may require prior approval.)

Equipment Needed on the Day

• Water:
Used for handwashing and food preparation.

• Electricity (for rice cooker and lighting):
A power source is needed for cooking and workspace lighting.

• Tableware (just in case):
We bring the necessary items, but we may borrow some of your accommodation’s dishes if needed.

• A large table:
Please prepare a table for at least four people for sushi-making and plating.

 

If You Have Any Questions

If you’re unsure about the equipment or space, feel free to send us photos of your room in advance.
We will confirm everything to ensure you have a comfortable and safe experience.

• This experience is designed for guests to learn about Japanese sushi culture by making and eating the sushi they prepare themselves.

• Same-day cancellations will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
